Hey all... My best friend now has two babies 20 weeks apart, and can no longer work out of a salon, so I am in a small studio by myself, and I (singsong voice) LOOOVVVE IIIITT! However... there are two, hideous drop-ceiling type fluorescent light fixtures in there, and it's kind of garish. Granted, the walls are currently white (I plan on painting in the next week), so that doesn't help.
What kind of things can I do to cut down the ... garish-ness/brightness/harshness of these lights? Any ideas? Tack sheer fabric over them or something (I wouldn't even know how to do that LOL, but I would try)? There is also a tube skylight which is great for natural light (unless it is icky out, or nighttime)...
