I has many emails about the minx website.
So I spoke to Dawn and Janice and asked them to give us an update.
Here is what they had to say...

Hi Athena,

Thank you for the opportunity to allow us to update Beautytech on the
happenings here at Minx HQ.  We try and respect that this is the nail
technicians "party" and it is not right for a supplier to "crash" it.
We have had a couple things happen this last week and it is affecting our
client service.
As I write this we are switching to a new webmaster/host.  They came highly
recommended by an editor at Nails magazine and they have a very good
understanding of the industry.  What they have in store for the
MinxNails.com website is just awesome!  And they are passionate about it!
The backend of the website has been totally redone.  This means you may not
see a lot of the improvements, it is more the mechanics of the site.  First
time buyers will be able to get their password and enter their salon/spa
information all in one step.  You will be able to manage your salon listing,
choose shipping methods and expedite orders. We are working on a whole bunch
of other really cool stuff that will just keep coming!
The second happening is that we work with an excellent PR company who we
find ourselves sometimes playing catch up to.  This last Friday they had
Minx featured on E!News, very cool!  The phones and emails are flooding in
from all over the world.  The really neat thing about this is the
manicurists on our website have also been flooded with business.  It does
create a triple whammy; the website conversion, along with the new inquiries
and the orders placed by existing clients has strained our resources.
What are we doing about it?
Well, not sleeping for one :)! We are working double shifts and weekends and
have taken on more help.  We have refocused all our resources to getting
orders and client inquiries done ASAP.  Our goal is to get orders out same
day if placed before noon PST, and have inquires answered same day.  We have
a ways to go and hope you bear with us.  We currently outsource our phone
answering.  We are working on training them to be more helpful, in the
meantime the fastest way to get assistance is to email i...@minxnails.com.
The outside phone service gives us 24/7 live voice which is good but they
need to be more helpful. We get the messages through our i...@minxnails.com
address, emailing us directly saves you a step and some time.
The rest of this week will be pretty crazy things should calm down next
week.  Please give us a little time to work through the glitches and then
please let us know if there is anything we can do to fix any wrongs we have
done.
