Hey my friends.. I have at least 35 pr of basic nippers and then about 10 lg podiatrist clippers...... 35 reg pushers....40 or so basic nail clippers.....then about 40 speciality tools like currettes and rasp files ect....... So I need lg here. This can be modified for less. :)
I have 3 plastic clear square containers from Target. 1........ shoe box size....... I use for disinfectant that I have about 15 nail brushes done fresh everyday. Labled DISINFECTANT w a chart that has been laminated w a week on it. I write in the date and time it is changed out either every morning or end the evening. I have 2 smaller boxes w locking lids in the handles about 2 1/2 in deep. Each is has a rubber mesh liner fitted into the bottom. I labled - SOILED/USED IMPLEMENTS 1 Labled- CLEAN and DISINFECTED Clients come in pull a fully submerged nail brush...scrub then put into the "soiled" box. When I use a pak of sterilized implements they go into the "Soiled " box until the end of the day. Then I scrub and drop into disnenfectant for 10 min, then rince w hot water...and semi dried. They then go into the "CLEAN" box.....until I am ready to bag and autoclave.
