Last client of the week. Tired, polishing her. All done. Jeez I am tired. Long week.
Have a table next to my table where I do my services. client can dry her nails while I am starting the next client. (we can all three talk) I have polish all over the place, brochures, lotions etc. On this drying table is my new bling/polish trees. Behind me is a professional polish rack with polishes. On the side of me my small cabinet where I keep my immediate supplies, e file sitting on top. Next to that is my new cart where I keep my gel/bling supplies with uv lamp on top. On my table have my immediate supplies, Ott lamp. and a client that I am polishing. Can you say that I am a nail tech?? Stylist brings a woman (late 20's something) to my drying table, sits her down and shows her my bling/polish tree. She is looking at them and saying wow. I am polishing. All of a sudden she asks, "Where can I get these done, do those nail places that put those fake nails on do these?" Okay, I am tired, did she just ask me that? I look at my client and see her face, and realize that Yep, I heard her right. I just said, was trained in Cincinnati,(HRTE) I have no idea if those "other" places do them or not. Wish I had told her yeah they sure do, I advertise for "those places" all the time. Let me get you a telephone number.
