The gel French Fill is done the same as acrylic. Hand file or electric file the
product down and fill with white and pink. File and shape. Apply finish gel.

Hi Katherine,
I recently took an Entity gel class and I would love to switch to gels.  I
have yet to use the kit I received since the class, though.
I learned enough to know how to do an initial full set, but how to you do a reg
fill and a pink & white backfill with gels?  Would you care to share the
steps?  Is it the same as doing acrylic fills?  Easier, harder?

Thanks!

I switched from AC to gels about 10 years ago because gels are:

Odorless
lightweight
non-yellowing
flexible
ultra natural looking (clear)
not what the NSS's are doing (different from all the rest, sets me apart)
instant dry nail polish (color gels)
easy to file
non-lifting
high shine without polish

The only thing that I liked better about AC was the ability to hide flaws in
the nail bed. Now, Entity has come out with a gel that hides flaws in the nail
bed. Whooo hoooo! YAY gels!!!

Subject: NailTech:: Gels vs acrylics

OK...so my question is....what are the benefits of gels vs acrylics?
I am doing my first set of gels today and I have had some clients ask
me what are the benefits of gels....for years I thought they were
healthier for the nail but I had some one politely tell me that isnt
true....so I want to come to the experts and find out so I can have
some knowledge of what to tell my clients

Thanx,
Kelley
