For my footbath I use a plastic dishpan lined with allies (marbles) of varying size and then line the pan with a blue garbage bag. I tell new clients 'you won't go home with anything you didn't bring with you' so far everyone has been very appreciative of my concern for their safety. Of course, I also wear gloves -- same ones our paramedics use on the ambulances. I don't sterilize my instruments but do sanitize and disinfect with hospital grade disinfectant. Do keep all instruments covered after sanitizing and disinfecting.

With all that has been going on with whirlpool spa units, how have you changed your pedicure procedures? Do you soak without using jets, did you go to waterless, etc.?
