Maybe your biting is pulling your nails off the bed and not the acrylic.  Just
a thought.  Have you used gel on your own nails?

File my nails off??? Refill my nails??? OMG-- I bite them off!! I tell my
clients to do as I say and not as I do. I do not have to pay to get my nails
done!!
Actually, I cannot wear nails much. I am going to try the soak gels. The
acrylic pulls my nails off the bed, so I do not want to wear them often. I just
manicure mine.
But really, I just crack them on my back teeth!!! I am bad!!!

The BEST idea was for having the client hold the hose!!!!!! I have had them do
this since Tuesday and this is better than the clamp!!
It is so much easier to have the client hold the hose at each finger than to
have it in one place and maneuver the fingers around it!
Smartest idea yet!! Thank you!!

Marsha,
Did your unit come with the hands free piece? That is what I use since the
piece did not fit the Kupa or the Eve-n-Touch.
The hands free piece is a clamp and I am so used to it now.
If you make it stationary on your table, it may be harder to maneuver the
fingers to the opening.

I bought the Partigon about 1 1/2 yrs ago and I love it.....now. It wasn't easy
to adapt to because of the weight and pulling from that huge hose. Everyone's
situation is different, so if you decide to invest, I think you'll love it too!
I bought mine from the company that makes them. I've had great results it
dealing with them. The system used to attach the clear top (containing the
filter) to the base isn't the greatest. It's made of plastic and I've broken
two. The first one they replaced at no cost. When it broke again, I just attach
it with a wide piece of packing tape. Doesn't look great, but no one sees it
but me.

Today, at Nail Kamp, it was driving Vicki nuts! So, Vicki-style, she suggested
I attach it somehow to my (homemade) armrest so that it wouldn't interrupt my
use of the e-file. I think that's workable, and I must say, having that thing
off my file makes my life soooo much easier. But I love that little vacuum!!!

Michelle the partigon is the vac system that attaches to an e-file,  I got mine
from their website  I think the website is www.luraco.com .    The e-file  I
got directly from Kupa, Inc.  I figured if I was going to invest in and e-file
that I would buy one of the best out there,  I wanted great customer service
and great product.  I asked around the tech forums etc,  and decided on the
Kupa KP3000.  The hose and hand piece for the vac system I bought separate from
Akzentz,  that will attach  to any canister style vaccum,  but I taped it onto
my partigon and it works great.

Ok, so I was at Nail Mart today and they had the Partigon for $129 but with a
no refund no return policy.  How whack is that?  Where did you all get yours?

Also, I know we've talked about this before but I don't think I saved the
emails.  I want to invest in a "real" e-file but am afraid of spending that
much money.  I need a lightweight hand piece.

Thank you!

Pati,

I have a Kupa also,  and had the same problem,  it fit,  but couldn't
comfortably hold onto it, it was in my way and in the way of my bit.  Plus the
weight of the hose pulled on it and caused a lot of pain in my hand.  So I
orginally used the tabletop piece,  then I McGivered the hose with medical hose
and different things to attach it to my vac.  I now have a hose and nozzle
piece that I bought from gelessentialz and it works great,  I still had to tape
the attachment piece to my efile and the hose to my vac, because it is made for
a canister vac,  but it works and has saved my face and eyes let alone my lungs
too.

which kupa do you have?  It fits fine on mine!  If you need any help let me
know.....
It has adjustable bolts to fit any handpiece.....I am confused  LOL  (doesn't
take much)

Michele,
The handpiece I received with my Partigon did not fit my Kupa. They sent me
another one and same thing. So, I just use the table top contraption. It is
cumbersome but I adjusted to it fast.
Last week my daughter called while I was filing a client so I shut off the
Partigon. I started choking from the dust!!!!!
I am so glad I went with the Partigon. I cannot believe how much dust I was
breathing in! Thanks again Dawn!

I use the Partigon also and really like it although don't like the extra
bulkiness that it adds to my efile. I've talked to a guy who deals with air
quality and he made it very clear that although you might be able to get rid of
some odors but air cleaners won't do much for the dust we create and the
majority of the odors that acrylic will add. He said that once the particles
and smells are airborne, that's that. The best thing to do is to catch them
before they get airborn and with something like the Partigon you can do that.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone uses "The one that works" air purifier or
their source capture machine?
