Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I didn't get to check them until now, so
I already did the appt. I did tips. She wanted the gels because she wanted to
use gel polish. I really prefer to sculpt but I was afraid they wouldn't be
strong enough with using gels and her nails being so short. I hope I didn't
make them to thin. I have a hard time gettting a good arch in the nail and end
up filing alot and they are ending up very thin.

I sculpt as well, and would definitely sculpt a nail biter.  You can wrap tape
around their finger below the free edge to get the skin out of the way while
you apply forms.  If you have any coverage gels or pigments (to mix into the
gel to get a coverage color) then you can extend the nailbed to make her nail
look longer, however I would not give very much length at the first
appointment.

I sculpt all my clients. With biters I use a coverage pink to give the illusion
of a longer nail bed. It hides the bitten parts!!!:)

Subject: NailTech:: tips or sculpts with gels
Hi, I have a girl coming in tonight to get a set of gels. She bites her nails.
What do you guys suggest to do...tips or sculpts? With ac I would do tips
because they are so short, but the gel is so lightweight, will it hold the tip
down good? Thanks for any suggestions. I am new to gels and have been doing
mostly sculpts. But I have not put a set on a nail bitter yet.
