I am soo happy to hear that CND is doing an SOG !!! I am a big fan of CND for many reasons. I'm definitely trying this one out. Does anyone know if this gel can be used in an LED lamp and cure twice as fast as a UV lamp ? This is the reason why I jumped on the Gelish wagon so fast. I can do 2+ services in the time it takes me to do 1 of another product ( with the LED lamp).
The base gel for Gelish is cured in a UV lamp for 1 minute - in an LED light 10 seconds The OPTIONAL structure gel ( so far, I'm not planning on using this gel much) is 2 minutes in a UV light - 30 seconds in an LED light The top Coat is 2 minutes in a UV lamp and 20-30 seconds in a LED lamp and the color is 2 minutes in a UV lamp and 20-30 seconds in a LED lamp Gelish also soaks off in 10 minutes (with the Gelish soak off solution) little longer with acetone. also the consistency of the product is important factor for me. Second reason why I got the Gelish. It is not as thick as other SOGs. It is much closer to polish then gel. Personally ( this is just me), I will be using this service on natural nails and not people that need/want a lot of strength. I want the product thin as possible. of course product quality & performance ( after properly learning the product) will rule all, and I can not yet comment on that. I want to test it A LOT before I even comment on this. I WILL be buying some CND Shellac at the Midwest show if they have it out by then...I hope so !
