Let me tell you without going into too much detail or I will be tossed from
this list.....
The day I had that stiletto done, I took a shower about 2 am. I forgot I had
that knife on my pinkie. While washing the back netherlands, I scratched myself
so bad --about a 3 inch scrape in a "crack". OMG. I wanted to scream but was
afraid I would wake up the whole hotel. I filed that thing down as soon as I
got home that Monday. Can anyone think episiotomy??? Not me, but if I did not
file it, that is what would have happened to me!!! LOLOLOL.
Square nails for me ONLY!!!

LMAO Lynnette!!! I almost spit my mouth full of water all over my keyboard.
The customer service girls are looking in my office like I'm nuts!

It's definitely an easier way. Little tougher on the flat nail people for a
change. Where traditional tips were always too flat for my curved nails....BUT
omg...they're beautiful. You can get around the curve on flat nails by really
barely making contact on the nail. There is no well so don't over lap flat
nails. Let the acrylic pull it all together.

I'm still chuckling BTW!

Michelle,

Just for people like you, I built a mold with our tip maker to help. I named
it a Vamp Tip. It's clear too so you can use white powder or gel and do french
OR you can use colors to do designs.

There is one tough trick to it...and I am sure it's why no one has been
successful with a true Stiletto Shape until now.... You can't make the C curve
flat or the nail looks like a Dorito. I had to give it an extreme C curve
straight through to the tip. So for flatter nail people you'll need to press
it out.

I also went a tad shorter than the Euro Stiletto. It's also well-less.

Our Starnail.com site is down for upgrades. I found the link above to my
graphic guy's site. This is the set I did with the Vamp Tips for the packaging
shot. The images were small and tough to see in this format but this one
seemed to be easiest to see. Michelle you can call direct to order the tips.

:)

Sigh... our industry is never static... just when you think you have got it all
under control, someone sends you a zinger... LOL! A on again off again clients
wants stillettos...

SO.... how do I do a stilletto nail? I saw a video online with a white tip
where you just cut the sides away... or should I attempt to sculpt? I normally
sculpt... lol... but my nails are normally square!!! Ok, so any tips and
insight would be helpful.... I think I am going to do them with a/c because I
am more comfortable with it than gel...

HELP!!! She wants in next week.... :)
