I don't do dry pedicures but I do use a swivel chair that came with an ottoman. I thought the ottoman would be nice for me to sit on. No it doesn't have wheels. Then I thought it would work for the client to put their feet on. No not high enough. It is hard for some of my older clients to get out of my chair because it tilts back so much. I had my husband make a platform to sit my swivel chair on so it can be higher. It helped my back but I should have had him make it big enough to also sit my pedicure bath on and also for the client to stand on to sit down or stand up. With my chair up higher it tips over when they stand up. So I had my husband make another base to sit up against the platform. My clients love the chair but sometimes I have to ask them to stop rocking if I am painting. I also use a footrest stand that is adjustable. I think I will get a chair that doesn't rock next time. The other day Jill Wright posted her website for us to look at her L-shaped station. She had a chair in the picture that I think she uses for pedi's. It looks nice. Do you have room for a table that they could lay down on? I think a lot of techs do dry pedi's on tables.

What kinds of chairs are you putting your clients in for those of you that do dry pedicures. I was thinking of gettting a nice leather swivel recliner with a matching ottoman. Any advice, please?
