I have a customer, originally from Puerto Rico, who has some odd knowledge from her family. I have her wearing acrylics but she alwayshas a prob with one nail. It's separated from the nail plate about halfway down. So one time she came in and her nail looked much better and she told me that she soaked it in chopped garlic every night for the last 3 weeks. I said huh ...really wow. Then she did it again for the next 3 weeks and it was almost grown out. Amazing I thought. But, I have to say it's gone back to what it was cause its been about 2 yrs since she tried that. I keep asking her to do it again. I wonder whats in that garlic hmmmmm?????? Meryl
