That is what my clients are saying also about the sog. I am just getting into
this type of manicure so we will see what happens over time. I also kinda feel
that way, maybe that is why my clients do to. I haven't sold them on it because
I am not sold yet. The verdict is still out. Same time, same price, why
not just have traditional gels. I do want to be able to offer the sog and
know how to do it successfully if there is the business for it.

Isn't it weird how different parts of the country, clients want certain types
of services? I would say 90 percent of my pedis are upgraded spa type with
masks, scrubs, stones etc. I don't do that many basic pedis, usually only if I
am running short on time and have to fit them in. On the other hand...I don't
do any upgraded manis. They all want basics. Except for paraffin add on in the
winter. I have had about 8 colors of different brand soak off gel for at least
a year. I have not bought shellac or gelish yet. I am still trying to
understand the point :-). I can't give the other sog away for free. Clients
don't want to pay the extra for sog. I had one lady get it about 3 times, she
wore french. After that, she came in and said what is the point, just put the
permanent gel on and I will just get fills, it is faster and costs the same.

Heather,
My clients do not want all the extras like the masks. For the few that would
want more than the pedi I offer, I woulllld use the extra towels. But not 10!!

Another question: do you use foot scrubs and masks? How do you do this with no
water? I do a chocolate pedi (by Keyano) and you really need water to rinse it
off. (I could see myself needing like 10 moist warm towles for this). I think I
could do the no water pedi if it was just a basic....not sure about the spa
types. I don't think I could give up my pedi spa room set up for two. :-(

I am soooo sorry I forgot to get back to you on this.
I heat my towels in a crock pot.
Use whatever callus remover of your choice and apply to areas needed.
Apply cuticle remover on toes.
Wrap feet in warm towels and wrap in plastic. I use gallon baggies.
While in the towels, massage legs. I have six different scents of Haken and let
them choose.
Work on one foot after massage. Clip and file nails, clean up cuticle and then
the callus work. If you want to use a scrub, do it now. Use your wet towel to
remove scrub. Massage foot.
Repeat on other foot.
Clean off toenails with alcohol and polish. Collect your$$$$ and set up their
next appointment!
Hope this helps!
Buenos dias,
Lynnette
