And I have decided in my ole little mind that knows NOTHING, ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, about watts, output, input, plug it in and it works, about light....that the light that all these companies have is all about the BOX or UNIT that the bulbs go into it.

If these companies are re-selling to you Phillips 9 watt bulbs, for their light box, then a bulb is a bulb. It all boils down to the way the light box(unit) is shaped and designed. (now if they use another bulb, this theory is down the toilet).

I say boxes that had metal reflection plates all over the place, some with white (metal, plastic, paint, etc.), so the metal reflection plates would have more WHAM, then non reflected plates.

Some light boxes, were very very small, maybe more concentration for the light energy to bounce around and cure the nails better and faster(gawd I have no idea what the hell im talking about), and some were large, not concentrated, (that doesn't make since either).

Oh well, thats my take, and I could totally be wrong. I have no idea. But have to admit the CND lamp was awesome, top of the line. timers, a timer when your bulbs expire, a fan, concentrated, bottom plate removes for peds......Will other lamps work with their product, have no idea..........but this was all my observations, and manuf can explain what is wrong with my ZERO KNOWLEDGE theory.......LOLOLO........diana from indiana

Okay, Phillips 9 watt bulb. googled this, (is googled a word????)and came up with prices from 6.99 to up to 41.00 dollars, WTH is that all about?

Phillips is a brand name, the bulb description and pic all looks the same. I understand if you purchase another brand, that maybe, just maybe it is not as good. But the Phillips name......it is all the same. Odd. Put this on the list of OOPS, ya need to compare prices. diana from indiana
