Great idea doing the underside! Thanks for the "tip"!

Hey Sherri,

I use both the Colorpop and LE nail displays.  I never rough up any of them.  I
also apply the product UNDER the clear tip so the top is completely smooth.  My
routine is to apply a clear coat of gel first, cure it full.  Then two or three
coats of color fully cure them then a topcoat.  I do not have a problem with
shrinkage or cracking or spiking or pulling away from the tip.  I've done this
with Vicki Peters, Young Nails, Akzentz, LE, IBD, Shellac, Gelish and clear gel
with glitter.  No problems.  But half way through I discovered that if you
apply the product to the underside of the tip, then all of your tips look
uniformly smooth.

Hope this helps!

Hello fellow nail peeps!

I'm wondering if those of you who are using these type of displays are removing
the shine on the tips before you apply your sog or Shellac colors?

I'm thinking the gel might not adhere to the slick surface of the tip and I'll
get "shrinkage".

TIA
