LOL... not as well as the others, which is why I use it more as a color gel
than as a sog. You need to apply it super thin like polish for it to soak off
as advertised (which is still 15 minutes, btw) AND break the seal first, and let
it go the whole 15 minutes with no peeking. If it is thick like the ones you
just experienced, you have to file off about halfway before soaking. The good
news is that it stays on A LOT longer than Shellac... I have had frenches go 4
weeks with absolutely NO chipping by doing nothing more than barely removing
the shine from the natural nail. As far as application goes, I still prefer
Shellac...

I had a new client yesterday for Shellac.  She had axxium on....it took me a
freaking hour to soak that stuff off.  It was so thick and lumpy I would never
have believed it was SOG.

To begin I just quickly broke the seal with a file...then cotton ball/foil for
10 min.  Nothing!  So I file them down a bit (I had to be quite careful with
that cos' she had just had articificial nails removed and there was some damage
and sensitivity) reapply cotton ball/foil for 5-10....a little bit of progress
with that, except.....to my horror.....i discovered another colour
underneath.....so round 3 got underway.  Anyhow after an hour and 15 minutes
she walked out the door with a new THIN application of shellac and I hate
axxium....seriously, does that stuff really soak off?

I first did the $hellac on my mom 2 weeks ago.  She was AMAZED at how well it
held up!  She came back in today, 2 weeks later, and wow!  Her nails looked
PERFECT!  And she hasn't been pampering them either!  She has been cleaning,
cooking, gardening, doing all the normal stuff that used to have her polish
chipped off within 2 or 3 days.  I must say.. I AM IMPRESSED!  Can't wait to
see how everyone else does!  They should be coming in this week or next!

Subject: NailTech:: shellac french

woo-hoo  ...  I had a client come back today...it'll be 3 weeks tomorrow that I
did a Shellac french on her...(over natural nails)   OMG...it looked great!
She is a seamstress and works at an after school center..plus a wife and mother
and does NOT wear gloves.... amazing!  She had a slight "crack" where her nail
bends when she pushes the needle into fabric...that's all!
Let's see how this week's  Shellac french lasts......
