Using the colorpops..they suggested you paint the underside of the display tip...then you do not have to use topcoat. I think that was the difference, for me anyway...in the color coming off when wiping the dispersion layer on display tips vs. not coming off on real nails (cause I use topcoat on real nails)

Pati, when I made the colorpops I did put the color on the underside of the pops and I used the clear as the top also underneath. You do have to be careful not to wipe the TOP side of the pop, apparently there was a reaction between the plastic of the pop and the alcohol I think in the wipe and the pop shattered on the top side, almost instantly!
