Amy Becker of Masterworks has a Masterworks Tip mailing list that I get every Monday. She said to "twirl" the manicuring stick, not stir, to mix color into gel. Twirling doesn't whip bubbles into the gel like stirring does. I tried it, it took a little longer to mix the gel, but, no bubbles! Zip, nada, zilch! Yay! No bubbles!

But are stirring the gel? You have to really mix the product before using. I've never had chipping problems with any of the products. Maybe your lamp? Also, I have never used three coats, so maybe I put it on a little heavier than the other products. I have never had the problem of the crinkles with Eco like I do with the other brands. So maybe you can use a little more to get that coverage. I've learned that each product is a little different and the more I use them, the more I realize that gel polish is just as touchy as acrylic ratio application. diana from indiana At 06:55 AM 7/28/2010, you wrote: Ok, I wasn't going to put this on here but I have not gotten a response from Eco and on BeautyTech Message I was basically ignored. I just got 25 colors from Eco and I'm wondering if it's my application or do you need to put 3 coats of darker colors on to get the true color???? Like I've said before time is money, any input would be appreciated and I've also noticed it chips easier than others do??? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, please don't igonre my questions. --- On Tue, 7/27/10, Michelle Phoenix <[email protected]> wrote: From: Michelle Phoenix <[email protected]> Subject: Re: NailTech:: and then there was five... To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, July 27, 2010, 10:01 PM I just took a Shellac rockstar off my toes and I am not happy w/ the drying. I love love love the ease and thinness of the Shellac but the crappy distribution job and the solvent/dryness thing is not making me happy. Has anyone done a round-up of the other gel polishes? I love Akzentz but the price is killing me. I'd love some reviews of the newest, latest and greatest. Thanks! My Nailpro arrived today (stunning cover) and i.b.d. and Jessica now have brought out soft gel lines. Both of these new brands are in polish bottles. eco So Quick remains the only one in pots. I can not tell yet if either of these 2 brands are gel and lacquer or gel with colored pigments. Does anyone have any input yet? I will say it again - I really prefer the pots, good to the last drop and to me it just has a more professional look to it. One of the 2 new brands has the hole in the bottle like Gelish to see the color - has anyone had any issues with that bottle setup? I am really curious about it.
