Here are some help videos: http://fingernailfixer.com/shellac.html one is polish pointers which gives an idea on sealing the edge another is wrapping the remover wraps tightly. When removing, use PURE acetone, let it sit 10 minutes in the wraps, a thin layer of base coat is a key to clean removal, push off leftover with an orangewood stick and clean up any residue with acetone on a pad. Nails should be nice and clean, when removing, letting it sit longer is not good, the acetone evaporates and the Shellac rehardens ;o)

I tried the Shellac for the first time yesterday on the salon owner who purchased the kit a month ago. I'm glad I got to try it out before purchasing.....which now in my area its not available. The only problem ...well 2 problems were capping the free edge w/ the base coat and then w/ polish...the polish seemed to separate from the free edge, it wouldn't stay covered. The other problem was the owner (I think) didn't soak long enough to get all the product off, hence the surface was not smooth. So EXACTLY how long to soak to insure complete product removable? I only want to soak once w/o having to waste time repeating the process.
