Clear gel has to be cured the full amount before you apply color. Color has to be cured the full amount before applying more color. Color does not have to be cured the full time before the clear is applied. Also, when building a gel nail, if working with clear, you do not have to cure the full time between layers. Only the full time before color or before filing.

Okay, this may be a no brainer answer to this, and maybe thinking way too deep on this. but...........

After you apply your gel color, you need to cure for X amount of minutes before you put your Clear gel then cure for X minutes.

My question is, does the colored gel cure more after you put your clear gel on and it is curing? Does the light, xray, gamma rays, laser gun, xray vision light (lolo) cure THRU the clear gel to the colored gel? Is it possible to cut back time on the colored gel curing, because you are applying clear gel, and it could cure the "rest" of the time?

Maybe add an extra minute to the clear gel time? That would be time to clean up, collect money blah blah while the final coat is curing?
