We talk about something, and ends up in the news, or like Marsha, it
occurs in her life!!!
Anyway, in the news this morning, this is an article about online
sales tax. How states are pushing for it, and how difficult it is to
get thru the red tape.
Sales tax is when the retailer collects the tax and sends it to the State.
Use tax is when you buy something from an out of state retailer, and
you send the sales tax in. Same amount, just called user tax vs. sales tax.
Use tax is self reporting.
They quoted one person about user tax. she basically said, if they
don't make self reporting user tax easier she is not paying, She
said if its not set up on Ebay or something forget it!!!!!!!! LOLOLO
