I didn't say that shellac wouldn't cure in my other lamp, it does. I am just
saying the polish part of shellac to help w evaporaton needs the fan. The
other top coat I use shech vite uv when I put one hand in each (cnd lamp and
star nail lamp) the one w/o the fan is still tacky.  My starnail lamp is 36
wtt
