No problems with the pots, but they're not quite the same.

Well crap. We had to deal with the bottles of polish that sold for
almost 5 bucks a bottle and only able to use a little more than half.
Now we find out the same can happen to the colored gel?????? when
they can run 10-24 dollars a bottle???????? Well, isn't that great
news???!!!!
No wonder that the two colors that I have used most is starting to
get thick. (not talking about the cold draft)
I am assuming the same with the pots? So, if the solvents evaporate,
and the gel polish bottle has a smaller opening, does this mean the
larger pots of gel polish will evaporate quicker? Maybe the smaller
pots are better to have?
Well thank you Elaine for having our backs. diana from indiana

This is why I'm taking so long to release my bottles. In order to
thin down soak off gel to put into a bottle you have to add
Solvents. That is what you smell. Those evaporate. Just like in
Polish. Once those Solvents evaporate you're going to get a much
thicker consistency (which is what I'm finding when testing the
mixes we've been working on). This can get tricky. Once the
solvents are gone, and the formula gets thicker...you're left with
too much pigment in too small an amount disrupting it's ability to
cure properly.
So until my lab is finished making my custom oligimers (yes we are
making and patenting our own) we are not going to settle for
product that evaporates. It's just too expensive an investment for
you guys to not be able to use the entire bottle.

Is it just Shellac that gets thick? I didn't know any of it got
thick. Maybe the polish part in the Shellac is what is thickening
up. I haven't had a problem with Gelish yet.
