That is when I will purchase a LED lamp, When you come out with one that can cure both. I don't have room for two different kinds of lamps or the time to keep switching them out. Thank you Elaine.

When we introduced Eco we created several kits. When designing the kits, the argument that comes up a lot with the very smallest (aka cheapest) is what can we include and what doesn't have to be included? It's a cost effective thing. One thing I know, because I'm a licensed tech that has owned her own spa/salon in the past....you all are being bombarded by a gazillion products. Just to try each one gets expensive enough for you guys. THEN you still have to end up investing in the line OR lines of your choice. Mid range and biggest kit have all the cleansers and soak off solution. Even still when we give something away as a "free trial" (for example our QR Code in the magazine right now "Code Red") it isn't everything you need. That bugs me as a "Professional" now working in "manufacturing". I know Greg...I'll bet that he has tried to keep the cost of his kit down by leaving certain components out. Where it went wrong is, his show workers didn't even know to tell you that. It does get nutty at the shows. LED Let me give you my frustrations with LED from the point of view of someone formulating a Solvent Free (no polish no solvents nothing to evaporate no stink no thickening) Gel Polish. I've grown up (haha) around UV Lamps and am very comfortable with testing new products with my UV and knowing if the initiator is off or the lamp is off. BUT these LED's are kind of a nightmare for me right now. I get samples all day long from vendors that want our business. They have different wattage and the bulbs come from different places.... I'm so upside down with these lamps that I can't even determine if it is my test samples OR the damn lamp. I'm finding they aren't as "universal" as UV Lamps CAN be. It is hard enough to formulate product to be the way you love it in one lamp, but throw in a second and it is really hard to love it in both. I'm working on it. Hopefully, come hell or high water....my solvent free UV and LED will be available this year at our show in Vegas (the Cosmoprof one for Manufacturers and Distributors). Incidentally, I've already filed a patent on my UV + LED lamp I've been working on. One lamp that can do both. AND I not only still have 36 watts of UV (same four bulb location) BUT I also have LED's at the top...and a strip on each side for the side walls. Hope this helps you all out with a little understanding. Manufacturing is such a Nutty world. :) Elaine (I still want to write Elainefrommaine) Tony still calls me that to this day haha. I went to their class. Loved it! I get home I have a very sick child so I didn't have much time to play with the gels. I'm working on a client, going by the instructions, it says to use Swipe? on natural nail...no swipe in my kit so I use the cleanser. I'm not sure if it's a primer or what. I spoke with three different people at the booth buying buffers, oil, files and talking about the soak off gels. Not one person told me I need to buy swipe because it's not included in the kit. I called YN the guy said oh yeah just use Scrub Fresh...I don't have any...use Tammy Taylor's stuff in the blue bottle??? I don't have that either...then give me your visa number and I will send you some Swipe. REALLY??? Why wouldn't the Swipe be included? He didn't know. I bought the lamp thinking I would save time..that's not the case. I'm sending it back. The base coat and top coat need 2 minutes to cure. There's not a 2 min. button so you have to hit the 30 sec button 4 times and the thumbs are separate. I get to talking and won't remember how many times I've hit the button. Why can't it just be easy? I was so excited to add these gels to my collection only to be let down a little. : ( > >Terri > >-- >You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >"NailTech" group. >To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. >To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >[email protected]. >For more options, visit this group at >http://groups.google.com/group/nailtech?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
