Interesting. I've been doing this for 20 years. My clients are conservative and every now and then I can get someone to ware nail art of some kind (hand painted, glitter, rhinestones, dried flowers, holiday decal, gel art) on the ring finger only. One hand or sometimes both, but always just the ring finger.
I'm just so "trendy". :-) I call it "standard" for my clients.
