Holly,
With Calengoo...when you tap a time period a window appears.... says event
title.... for a backfill I would then enter bf... then click on event
details...top left...another window appears...under time you can then adjust
the start time in 5 minute increments...it is also on this screen you could put
in recurring events ...daily, weekly, monthly, annually....then in the same
window...at the bottom on the left there is an arrow in a square going
right...click that...ten click insert contact data....then click append to
content (different window) ...your contacts will appear...find your
contact...click on her/him..you will get brought back to original window...i
then click on end (under time) if I need to have more than 1 hour...or
less..then press save. Sounds crazy complicated but it is NOT at all...takes
less than a minute...after that is done...it will appear on your
calendar.double click on that area and a window appears ..press send in the
lower left and if you want to send a reminder you can press email or sms.... I
have never used the sms choice...because i do this from my ipad2 ....

Rats.....I just installed the calengoo app, started setting up google calendar
and see that their smallest time block is 30 min. I break my appointment book
into 15 min blocks. Does anyone know if that can be adjusted? I can't be the
only one who schedule's 15 minute appointments!!!

Dear Ruth, I finally caved and crossed over to the dark side...lol....and got
an iPhone. I've been keeping this post from Rhonda Kibuk, whose brain works
like mine does....and has already scoped out this process for us! Since I am
in the process of doing the same thing you are (getting my smart phone up to
speed) I cut and pasted Rhonda's post on this for you:

---begin copied message---

I promised that I would keep some people updated on my calendar situation.
Those who know me know that I was a loyal user of Palm with Agendus (a program
that marries your address book to your calendar). Well when I got a Blackberry
I just assumed that the Agendus for BB was the same WRONG. So for two years, I
carried my Palm for my schedule and used my BB for my phone. I just couldn't
see taking so many steps backward. I was spoiled by the Palm with Agendus
situation. Well, I've had an iPad for awhile now and got Agendus for
iPhone/iPad, it was just as bad, but it showed promise.

I now have an iPhone and the new iPad2 and I was determined to make this work
since I don't know how much longer my Palm is going to last and I am a little
tired of carrying two devices. Well, I still was disappointed in Agendus for
the i devices. I want to be able to truely link contacts, I want a good daily
view that shows times available without the stupid over lapping thing that is
nearly impossible to tell by a glance if a spot is open. I finally gave up and
went another route and so happy I did.

My ideal set up right now is using an App called Calengoo. www.calengoo.com It
was worth every penny of the $6.99 I paid for it. I wasted more than that in
Agendus and Pocket Informant applications that did not meet my expectations.
This syncs with google calendar, so I can have my schedule on all of my
devices, including my PC and it automatically syncs for me. It does everything
that I wanted it to do and then some. I just had to sync my Palm to Outlook, I
then Exported the calendar to a file and then imported it into Google calendar.
I then sync's Calengoo with Google Calendar and boom, am in business.

So, that's the update for all you techies out there like me!

Happy New Year Techs,

I only do about 20ish clients at home and been using a calendar to
keep track of appointments and found out today that I am creating more
work for myself when doing taxes.

I would like to know since we have smart phones and Ipad, etc. and
want to know what everyone is using that doesn't cost an arm and a leg
(free is great) and is user friendly.

Thank you for your tips and suggestions
