I'm so sorry this happened to you.  Even though I vaguely know about
copyright infringement I still really never thought that some company or
some person was randomly trolling the internet to catch people.  When I had
my website redesigned last year my web guy gave me the link to Shutterstock
and for a very low one-time charge (I think it was $49) I was able to
download 12 royalty-free images.   I can use those images that I purchased
in any way I want to promote my business.    They've since changed the plan
and you can now purchase 5 images for $49 in any 12-month period.  Still
well worth the peace of mind.

What I got was a letter from Getty Images legal dept.  It looks legit. Spoke
to a lawyer who would charge me $500 to deal with them and then I may still
have to pay.  I think I will have to speak to Getty and see if I can reduce
the $ and pay that.
