I thought it was very well written, and very to the point. They are just all jazzed up about their "new" line of polish aren't they? lol. I think they are making way too much of nothing special. I have not seen this brand advertised or in stores. Never heard of it, and certainly their "buzz words" would NOT inspire me to buy it! Bleh! Thanks for the info! You did great! Pam Nail Designs Ohio

I should have just sent it to them and then asked all your opinions about it. If you did read the email, what did you think of the points I made? Was I out of line? Dibutyl Phthalate is one ingredient. All polishes are sanitary because they are an anaerobic environment. Neither bacteria nor fungus can grow in them. As for not having a larger professional size, that's not really green because I'd be constantly purchasing new polishes, thereby creating a need for more glass and plastic, more packaging and more greenhouse gasses to have them delivered more often. All polishes are gluten free. Even if a polish had gluten in it, it wouldn't cause an allergic reaction because gluten can only be absorbed in the gut. Almost all polishes are vegan. The only polishes with animal product are the ones containing natural red 40, also called crimson lake or cochineal, the pigment gotten from carmine producing beetles. I feel like your company uses buzz words and without any due diligence to back up your marketing claims. As I said before, I'll be interested to see what you do with future iterations of your product, but I'm not interested in it at this time. I'll be forwarding this email to my colleagues. I'm sure you'll be soliciting their opinions too. I'll be interested in hearing their thoughts on your product. Take care. If you’re open to it, I’d like to send you a new set of samples along with our base and top coat. We’ve never had the issues you’re having (lumpy and streaky) and i’m wondering if something happened during the mailing process? -5 Free = toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl, phthalate and camphor. -Cruelty Free -Made in USA -Vegan and Gluten Free Regarding the rational for the size of the bottle: Hoopla designed their collection with hygiene at the forefront of their mission. After a mani/pedi the customer is sent home with their bottle for touch ups. Each time a customer comes in they get a fresh new sanitary bottle. Hoopla implemented a recycling program which we can discuss extending to you…after the 3rd mani/pedi Hoopla gives a free bottle (customer gives Hoopla the 3 empty bottles which are recycled). Some other benefits from customer/salon owner feedback: *Pocket sized mini-polish is easier to tote around for touch-ups. *You don't have gobs of regular sized polishes getting goopy and crusty and taking up valuable vanity space (we believe most women rarely ever use a full bottle of regularly sized polish bc it goes bad and/or they tire of the color). *Minis are less wasteful in the polish, packaging, etc. Please let me know if you are open to giving us another shot. All of the customer and retailer/salon feedback along with Media/Press has been positive. I believe this is an isolated issue and unfortunately you had to experience it.
