Randy Whitneys point is well taken, but my interpretation was value, not semantics post euro to dollar conversion. RIPE is likely not overly concerned with what it costs Americans to attend the meeting since North America is not their region. Likewise, that should be a low priority for NANOG as well. It's quite reasonable all considered. -M<
