Read my post one more time... The standards you described are what I
described. No video, no audio = no speech = no slander. The article
was written, hence libel.

Libel on the other hand is a different matter.
You have those backwards. Slander is transitory (i.e. spoken)
defamation, libel is written/recorded/etc non-transitory defamation.
This seems like a group that could benefit from knowing those two
words.
