Just don't tell Greenpeace - I don't think we're quite at the state yet where we need to start recycling the MAC addresses from thrown out CPE routers. Plus I'm sure the CA government will be more than happy to add a $4/device recycling fee for anything sold with a MAC address if they find out about it.
