Terry, The <solution> does not support VS.NET 2005 solutions/projects, but it does support building a VS.NET 2003 solution (or projects) targeting .NET 2.0 Beta 1. Also, the individual compiler tasks (<csc>, <vbc>, ...) support .NET 2.0 Beta 1.
We should indeed document this in the <solution> task help, and provide a more meaningful error message when an unsupport solution file (or project) is supplied. Has anyone updated the ProjectSettings class to support VS beta project files?
