Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Packaging Group: cvs Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Gert Driesen (drieseng) Assigned to: Gert Driesen (drieseng) Summary: NAnt assemblies are not signed Initial Comment: Currently, we do not sign our assemblies. As mentioned by Jonathan Chambers, this can result in securty issues (if you want to run NAnt from a network share). We should check if signing our assemblies does not break backward compatibility with existing extension libraries (since our assembly name changes because of this). Also, if I recall correctly then it's not possible to reference unsigned assemblies from a signed one. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=402868&aid=1856088&group_id=31650 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
