Not at all. I've changed it to reflect your suggestion. I appreciate any other comments you have regarding new users to both build tools and open source projects. Thats why I added the cvs question.is a little flip and not terribly informative, particularly to someone who has never used a build tool (i.e., the majority of all Microsoft tools developers). How about leading off with something like this:"NAnt is a free .NET build tool. A build tool helps automate the process of building complex software projects. NAnt is similar in concept to build tools like make and Ant." Is my version too condescending? I was going for something that says what a build tool actually is, rather than defining it in terms of other tools that developers may or may not know about.
