Preliminary reports from our Police Department that there were three tornado touchdowns in Oglala. One church ,Our Lady of the Sioux, where wake services were in progress, was completely leveled. Some mobile homes and the Igloo housing project appear to have caught the brunt of the storm. There were a lot of injuries but no reported deaths as of yet. Rumor is Governor Janklow is sending emergency assistance. I don't know how he could have responded so fast.
