There has long been discussions of adding a new preview pane that shows previews (large thumbnail, play button for audio, inline play video widget, etc) and also show various metadata for this. Somewhat similar to whats shown at: http://njpatel.blogspot.com/2007/02/nautilus-love.html It would show a preview widget (pluggable), a nice title and a list of various metadata we can extract about the file. The pane would be possible to show/hide disable etc just like other window elements. Having this in the sidepane isn't imho a good idea, because then its impossible to use in spatial mode, and it covers important navigation tools in browser mode that you might want to use while previewing stuff. -- nautilus-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/nautilus-list
