The old way allowed me to VERY easily switch / jump to different folders. With the old way, there was just the "new window delay penalty" once. Once a window was open, all was good and quick. > Just disable that > option, its not the default or anything. Yes, with the current implementatoion, I'm certainly going to disable it. The old way really was better. >> > I'm not sure what the right thing to do here is. I guess, I don't know what was spatial then ;) All I can say, is that I liked the old behaviour better. And also the way Explorer XP handles the "new window for every folder" option. For me, the way Nautilus behaves now (with this option) doesn't make sense at all. I really do not need to see this "! Unsortiert !" folder 8923 times, just because I've passed through this folder 8923 times. That is nonesense, as far as I'm concerned.
