Hi,
This is only possible when the user IDs for the new database have not been set
up on SQL server.

If you have created a new database, than please check the user Ids in the new
database from SQL management studio.

Also, synchronise all the user ids for the new database through NAV.
Best Regards,

Subject: [Navision-Knowledge-Village] You do not have permission to read the
Object table

Hi Everyone!

Could anybody help me out on this:

I am on testing phase with a new client. I had created one database to do the
first testing. Everything was configured by the book. Everybody could connect.
Everybody is initially set as “super” user.

But then I made another database for the second testing, on the same sql
server, to utilize the same users, following the standard procedures. For some
reason, some of the users (3 of 7) could not connect to NAV, getting the
message below.

No adjustment was made to the user setting in the SQL server. Those 3 users
could still connect to the old database.

Has anybody encountered this problem?

Regards,
