Baba Ramdev shocked the nation with his vicious anti-Dalit ranting and the
nation was not expecting anything sensible from him as he was never known to be
balanced with his words.
It was only a matter of time before he said something so atrocious that even
his staunchest followers in the BJP would find trouble defending him. He was
exposed earlier when he was openly talking about moving black-money for
elections in front of the camera with the BJP candidate in Alwar, Rajasthan, a
few days ago.
But who is Ramdev and what does he stand for? Is he even one tenth of the saint
he claims to be or is he just a businessmen who is campaigning for a favourable
government, the only difference being that he prefers saffron robes to a
business suit.
