Mayoral Candidates Forum Oct 21

Please join us for the Neartown Association’s Mayoral Candidates Forum on Wednesday, October 21st at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, at 1805 West Alabama Street in Pecore Hall (South Side). Six candidates have accepted our invitation to participate.
Each candidate will be asked to briefly present their vision for the City of Houston and 3-5 goals they intend to accomplish by the time they leave office. In addition, the candidates will be asked to respond to five questions covering topics that are crucial to Montrose, as well as the City as a whole:
- Infrastructure
- Affordable housing
- Mobility
- Balancing growth with neighborhood needs
- Public safety
After the question and answer session, there will be a brief “meet and greet” period, giving forum attendees the opportunity to visit with the candidates.
Early voting begins on October 19th. We encourage you to take advantage of this last chance to be informed … and vote!
