Dave, I am quite familiar with LONIIS (in St. Petersburg) and I am rather surprised. Typically, GOST-R mark would be satisfactory. LONIIS is one of Russia Telecom Certification Centers. NEBS has nothing to do with homologation and LONIIS's scope of evaluation, as I see it. Did they take NEBS tests results as a substitute for all other relevant safety and EMC tests?
Could you elaborate? I can remember at a previous company we got LONIIS in Russia to accept NEBS test results with minimal additional assessment against ETS 300 019/119. Anyone else have any stories to tell, other than the obvious spatial differences?
