Greetings, I'm looking to buy a sound level meter for quick and dirty lab measurements prior to going to an independent test house. It doesn't have to be very accurate.
For GR-63 acoustic noise measurements, the reference standard is ANSI S1.4-1983 however there is no mention if it is a Type 1 or Type 2 meter. Does anyone know which type is required? Or does it even make a difference? As well, any recommendations on a manufacturer would be great.
