Group:

I have a system that will be going through NEBS Level 3 and equivalent ETSI
certifications. Our mechanical group hasbeen working with a design
requirement that they indicate is related to these certifications (but
can't provide a specific reference) that limits the depth of any cable
routing channels, etc. to two inches beyond the front panels. This is
specifically challenging because most of the front panel connections are
coax, which have separate minimum bending radius requirements.

I'm not aware of anything in GR-63 or GR-1089 and don't believe there was
anything in GR-78 about this, but since there always seems to be just _one
more_ GR that I get aquainted with - just when my comfort level was getting
good - I was hoping that someone on the list might acquaint me with where
in the Telcordia requirements (or ETSI, or elsewhere) I might find said
reference.

I'm under the impression I've seen and worked with equipment that abjectly
violates it if it exists. I'm assuming that's mainly a point to be
negotiated with the appropriate end-user.... If this is a common urban
legend that you can help me debunk, then I would appreciate that, as well.
