Well the second day of the Rhode Island State Championship was a little better,
but we struggled to get in three A-division races and four B-division races.
We started off in a Northerly and finished in a Southerly both of which never
peaked above 5 knots and frequently almost died completely.
I was impressed with the attitude of all the sailors in what were the most
difficult of conditions. There were a couple of 720's completed, but no
protests were lodged which made for an easy day for our judge Noel Field.
Congratulations to Boston University for winning the event. Results follow:
