I just bought a new one on
Fri. after shopping quite a bit. I went with a 4 megapixel too but the Vivitar
3815. I got it for $134.95 at WM….it’s about $10 more at WM online.
The 128mb card (Lexmark brand) was on sale for $28 there as well. It’s
full featured yet really slim with the sliding lens protector/cover.it
also has a MMacro lens setting for stuff like close-ups of small jewelry or
flowers which some didn’t have.I’m really pleased with it so far. I

there are so many to choose from. So, seeing that many of us online moms
post digital pictures, thought I should come to you all for suggestions!
The reason why we want one now is so we can take and share pictures asap when
this baby comes (any hour/day now). Also, we need to start a nice
(business) photo album of tables/rooms when they are set-up with our
chair covers. Tonight we bought an Olympus D-580 and
have 14 days to return it, un-opened. We bought it because it was on sale
for $219 (from $299) till tonight and also came with a free Lexmark Z816 color
printer (after instant & mail-in rebates). The camera has the
following features: 4.0 Megapixel 3x optical / 4x digital Zoom 1.8 LCD viewing screen 16MB x-D picture card Quicktime movie mode with sound Takes 2AA batteries (included) or 1 x
LB-01 (CR-V3) lithium battery pack or We went to Best Buy prior to this and
one of the sales guys recommended a comparable Kodak camera (that came with a
lithium ion battery). Anyway, I really want CLEAR pictures
(like you get with a good 35mm camera) when they come out of a
printer (who doesn't? lol) but I really notice a wide range in the quality
of digital hard copies. I am not sure how much the printer and/or the
photo paper play a roll in this. Any recommendations or tips are VERY
welcomed! I want to open the box so bad (when I got there I was
surprised to find out that I couldn't return it if it was open). Oh, we also bought a 128MB Thanks SO MUCH! Sorry for all the
