This week, in keeping with a cross-the-site graphics theme, I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager for 2003. This gem is a little known part of the latest version of Office that lets you scan, edit and organize your pictures in one place and then use them in PowerPoint, Word, FrontPage, or any other program. Along the way we'll quickly cover some of the key aspects of the various important graphics file types and how (and why) they work in the various applications.
Does this woman ever stop? Read Laurie Rowell's latest article on using Document Information fields in MS Word templates. Lots of great tips, as always.
