VOIP Testing : Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer
Job Desciption : The selected engineer will be responsible for the
following activities :
- creation of test cases based on specification;
- Testing software for any of the protocol stacks and systems in VOIP
domain - for MEGACO, SIGTRAN, H.323, MGCP, MG Gateways, MGC systems/
protocols;
- Designing/ Reviewing of test scenarios with respect to System
Specifications;
- Test execution, debugging, reporting and fault tracking
Skills Required : The person should be possess the following skills :
- experience of a telecommunications system environment;
- should be able to read & interpret system/ protocol interface
specifications & experience in converting specifications into test
cases and test plans;
- experience of protocol, interfaces,system level and end to end
testing;
- good knowledge of any of the protocol stacks and systems in the VOIP
technology
- experience in using protocol test equipment and tools for testing;
- experience of working in testing life cycle
Experience : 2-5yrs of experience in testing field.
Qualification : BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Electronics & Communication,
Computer Science or Instrumentation.
