Millions of divorce proceedings are expected to be
launched in Chile after the country finally made it legal.
Thousands of demands for divorce were issued within
the first few hours of the new law being introduced.
It took 10 years for the new law to be passed by Chile's
parliament. Malta and the Philippines are now the only
two countries where divorce is still illegal.
