GIVING THANKS

This Thanksgiving, we are most grateful to count you among the growing
ranks of our Patriot readers.  By virtue of your patronage, we know
that you are already standing on many frontlines in honor and defense
of our nation's proud heritage of justice and liberty.

You are Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines standing in harm's way
around the world.  You are moms, dads and other family members nurturing
the next generation of young patriots.  You are grassroots leaders and
local, state and national officeholders.  You are students and professors
at colleges and universities, often standing alone for what is good
and right.  You are employees and employers and professionals.  You are
in ministry at home and missionaries abroad.  You are American Patriots
from all walks of life, who "hold these truths to be self-evident, that
all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with
certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the
pursuit of Happiness."

Throughout history the burden of keeping the flame of liberty bright has
fallen on the shoulders of a few men and women.  As Founding Patriot
Samuel Adams noted, "It does not take a majority to prevail ... but
rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of
freedom in the minds of men."  That describes YOU!

The Federalist Patriot is donor-supported so we can offer our
publication without charge to hundreds of thousands of American military
personnel, students and those in ministry or other professions with
limited financial means.  But publishing, like freedom, is not free.
We employ the services of 45 feature and content editors, a formidable
research and analysis team, technical staff and software writers.
Publishing requires technical hardware, installations and offices,
etc.  We also have substantial legal, accounting and insurance costs.
(Please note that members of our National Advisory Committee and many
of our Patriot staff serve with little or no compensation.)

We are not sustained by any political, special interest or parent
organization. We accept no online or e-mail advertising. Our operations
and mission are funded by -- and depend entirely upon -- the voluntary
financial support of American Patriots like YOU!

Our nation is at a critical juncture. Thankfully, President George
W. Bush won his reelection bid, and the ranks of conservatives holding
national, state and local offices increased substantially. But we face
significant socio-political threats to liberty within our borders as
well as menacing enemies abroad.  If you are able, we need you to join
us on one more front. If you have not already done so, please take a
moment to support The Patriot today by making a contribution to our
