The hull is a custom design, modified off some hulls used for ferries and such.
It is GRP with marine ply bulkheads and carbon fiber cross beams and mast.(I will attach those pics to the album in a few hours) The deck panels that you see are all aluminum honeycomb sandwiches. (Fantastic stuff!) We might attach some CFRP at the beam/bulhead/hull interfaces especially at the inner wall as pressure distribution, appendages. On a related subject, any experience in this group with a high mol.wt. polyethylene yarn, branded as spectra. We were planning to use it for some of the stays and lines.
